By downloading, installing, or using What's This Mail? ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

What's This Mail? is a mobile application that helps users understand physical mail by scanning documents with their iPhone camera and providing plain-English analysis. All document processing occurs on-device. The App is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, tax, or insurance advice.

3. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. All document processing happens on your device — we do not upload or access your scanned mail content.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

What's This Mail offers auto-renewing subscription plans:

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. End-User License Agreement (EULA)

The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA") at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ governs your use of the App. These Terms of Service are in addition to the Standard EULA.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to code, design, graphics, and branding, are owned by What's This Mail. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. The App does not provide legal, medical, tax, financial, or insurance advice. You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, What's This Mail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. The App's analysis is provided for informational purposes only and may contain errors or inaccuracies.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
